Ministry of Corporate Affairs(MCA) has issued clarification clarifying that only individuals or body corporate can become Partners/ Designated Partners (DPs) in Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) or Karta cannot become Partners/ (DPs) in LLP.
