The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued a General Circular No. 07/2019 dated 27 June, 2019 clarifying that:
- Every person who has already filed DIR3 – KYC for the F.Y. 2018-19 will only be required to complete his/her KYC for the FY 2019-20 through a simple web-based verification service.
- The form will be prefilled on the basis of the records with MCA for ease and verification the concerned person
- However, in case of updation of mobile no. or e-mail address, an e-form DIR-3 KYC is required to be filed again, as this facility is not being proposed in the web-based service.
- In case of updation of any other personal detail, e-form DIR-6 will be required to be filed before completion of KYC through the web-based service.
- The due date for filing directors KYC for the FY 2019-20 has been extended (Earlier it was 30 June, 2019) and the same shall be notified once the web-based service is enabled.
